National workshops on achievement, retention, and transitions
31 July 2013
The Ministry of Education and partners are holding regional workshops on achievement, retention, and transitions during August and September 2013. These workshops will focus on the public achievement information; accelerating achievement towards the Better Public Services target for NCEA Level 2 or equivalent; and, the implementation of the vocational pathways.
The purpose of the workshops is to inform education providers and education organisations of the initiatives to raise achievement, and improve retentions and transitions. The workshops are also designed to consult on the range of resources being developed to support the vocational pathways.
The workshops are suitable for all secondary schools, tertiary providers, ITOs, board chairs, and Iwi partners. Registrations are now open.
